Anna Pomper
Anna is an '24 MPP student passionate about social policy. Before the Ford school, she worked on early diversion programming in New York City. Previously she worked at the DC Public Defenders Service as an intern investigator for their Special Litigation Division, primarily working on re-sentencing cases for clients who, as juvenile offenders, were sentenced as adults. Her interest in this work began in college when, along with my classmates, she helped to develop and run a mentorship program grounded in transformative justice practices at a local middle school in Pittsfield, MA. Originally from Washington, DC she is a big Nats and Mystics fan, and a devoted dog food can opener for her adopted pup Rugi.
