Debra Horner
Debra joined CLOSUP in 2008, helped design and launch the Michigan Public Policy Survey (MPPS), and serves as the senior program manager for the MPPS. In addition to her work at CLOSUP, Debra has been a regular lecturer in U-M's Political Science Department for over a decade and also teaches a course on Michigan politics and policy at the Ford School. She received her undergraduate degree from Duke University, a Master’s degree in political science from Florida State University, and her PhD in political science from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining CLOSUP, she worked in the private sector conducting customer opinion surveys at a research supplier for Ford Motor Company. Outside of work, Debra volunteers on a number of voter education efforts with the League of Women Voters Oakland Area.
