CLOSUP in the Classroom: Courses & Related Resources
In addition to integrating CLOSUP research data and findings into classroom activities, the Center strives to connect students with other courses throughout the School that focus on a range of issues related to state and local policy. See below for a list of such classes:
A core goal of the CLOSUP in the Classroom initiative is to integrate the Center's research activities into the classroom at the Ford School and beyond. CLOSUP's Director, Prof. Barry Rabe, regularly includes data from CLOSUP projects in the courses he teaches at the Ford School. In Academic Year 2013-2014, Prof. Rabe is teaching the following courses:
ENVIRON 312/POLISCI 380: Environmental Politics and Policy
PUBPOL 587.002: Public Management: American Bureaucratic Politics
In addition, CLOSUP research is sometimes used in special presentations and events to members of the Ford School community. See examples below.
